The VPN Gateway allows network administrators to connect SideNotesIM clients together across different networks, subnets, encrypted VPN connections and locations.

The VPN Gateway is a free add-on to all registered users.

Caution – IT support or knowledge of your firewall, router, and vpn may be required. The Gateway is NOT required for SideNotes clients communicating on your local network as long as they are all on the same tcp/ip subnet.

* Not compatible with older Version 1 Clients

Already a customer using SideNotesIM Version 1?

Even though version 2 is not compatible with older versions you can upgrade for free. Just be aware that the version 1 VPN Gateway will only work with version 1 clients.
